Author Linda Bond at The Blueberry Festival
Linda Thorsen Bond, author of Saving the Oldest Town in Texas, will be at The Bosslight from 10 a.m. to noon during Blueberry Festival Saturday, June 12. Her feature article about Col. Ben Wettermark in the June issue of Wild West Magazine is called Dirty Rotten Scoundrel and tells the story of “the seemingly trustworthy banker and onetime mayor of Nacogdoches, Texas, who became ‘most wanted’ and especially elusive.” She’ll have copies of her book, which is published by SFA Press.
The Bosslight is in the heart of the Blueberry Festival downtown at 123 E. Main Street in Nacogdoches. The bookstore is now twice as nice with the addition of Auntie Q'S, a warm and friendly place to shop for those hard to find antiques and collectibles.
